Psychology of money

Are you a compulsive spender?  Or do you hold on to your money as long as possible? Are you a bargain hunter? Your answers to these questions will reflect the way you deal with money.
According to psychologist, our individual money habits not only show our beliefs and values, but can also stem from past problems. For some people, money is an important source of power and strength. For example, husbands who complain about their wives spending habits may be afraid to lose power in their marriage. In addition to that, many people consider money as a source of happiness and love. They buy expensive things just because they are expensive and from famous brands. Other people, buy expensive gifts to their family members or their beloved just to make them happy. Think of yourself and how do you deal with money. For sure there were times you bought things you didn't need at that time, other times you didn't buy even though u had money, and there were times where you just wait for the sales and discounts to buy!
Some people who are addicted to shopping and can't ever imagine to have money in their wallet without buying anything. Those people have special therapies, for example there is a therapy called "behavior therapy". It is used with persons who can't enter a shop or a store without buying anything. A therapist teach him/her self-discipline, where he go to  a store stay there for ten minutes and buy nothing, then enter the next day ask for something try it and don't buy. Then that person will learn that nothing bad will happen if he left the store having nothing!
